Just finished the new season of 'Shogun' and the visual effects are on another level
The CGI in the first season was good, but the naval battles this time look completely real. What's a show that got way better with its effects?

Yeah, and it's crazy how fast that stuff gets better. I see what @ramirez.caleb is saying about some shows, but for me the gold standard is still The Expanse. First season had some rough edges with the ships, but by the end the space stuff felt totally real, like you could reach out and touch it. They just got better and better at making zero-g look normal.
