I finally binge watched Breaking Bad vs The Wire
I spent all last weekend deciding which classic to start first. Went with Breaking Bad because it had shorter seasons, 5 seasons vs 5 seasons but Wire has 60 episodes and Breaking Bad has 62. Which one did you pick first and did you regret it?

Man I just finished a podcast about these two shows. They said The Wire is more realistic but Breaking Bad has better cliffhangers. Picked Breaking Bad first too. No regrets. Bryan Cranston made me forget he was the dad from Malcolm in the Middle.

That whole "realistic vs cliffhangers" thing is spot on but here's something nobody brings up. The Wire actually rewards you more on a rewatch because you notice all the little connections and throwaway lines that matter way later. Breaking Bad is great the first time but falls off a bit once you know the twists.
