Heard someone at the coffee shop say they binged 'Patriot' in one weekend, is that show actually worth my time?

I was waiting for my order and this guy was telling his friend it's the most underrated show on Amazon and that he rewatched it twice which sounds crazy to me but now I'm curious has anyone here seen it and is it really that good?

Yeah just do yourself a favor and watch the first two episodes before you commit to the whole thing, if you don't like the dry humor by then it's not gonna click for you.

Totally agree with this. I actually made the mistake of forcing myself through three episodes of a show once because everyone said it got better. Never again. I was like three hours in before I realized I hated every character and the jokes just felt forced. My buddy kept telling me to stick with it and it would click but it never did. Now I give everything two episodes max. If it hasn't hooked me by then, I'm out.
