My mom's old seed packet reminder hit me hard this morning
I was digging through a drawer for my trowel and found one of those seed envelopes she labeled back in '09, 'tomatoes, south side, after May 15'. She always said don't rush the season, and here I am in Chicago starting peppers in March because the grow light is new. It took losing a whole tray to that cold snap last April to finally listen to her rule. Anyone else have a family tip that still beats the fancy guides?
