Helped my elderly neighbor plant cherry tomatoes on her balcony last spring
Mrs. Garcia from 3B caught me watering my peppers and asked if I could show her how to start her own plants. She was 78 and had never grown anything before, but she followed every step like it was a recipe. One day she brought me a plate of salsa made from her first harvest and said it was the best she'd ever had. Does anyone else have neighbors who randomly become gardening buddies?

Admitted to @oliviabennett that I used to think balcony gardening was silly, but Mrs. Garcia's salsa changed my mind completely.
