Dropped $65 on a self watering planter for my balcony and it drowned my basil in a week
The reservoir on that thing had zero way to drain, so my roots sat in water until they turned to mush. I lost six basil plants and a pepper start before I figured out what was happening. Anyone got a cheap pot setup that actually lets me skip a day of watering in July without killing everything?
