Don't bother with those cheap fabric grow bags from Amazon
I bought a pack of 5 for $20 back in April and they all started splitting at the seams by July. Lost about 15 tomato plants when the dirt just spilled out onto my balcony floor. Has anyone found a brand that actually holds up for more than one season?

Switched to the thick felt ones from a garden supply store and they're STILL going strong three years later.

Nah I gotta push back on this a little. I bought those same cheap ones from Amazon and mine are still holding up after two full seasons. The trick is you cant just drag them around or fill them all the way to the top with heavy wet soil. I use a saucer under mine and I dont move them once theyre set up. Lost one to a split but honestly I think I overloaded it with rocks at the bottom for drainage. The thick felt ones are nice but not everyone can drop $40 on a single pot you know?
