Update: My old-school mindset about digital test gear just flipped

I spent 15 years swearing by my analog multimeter and paper logs, even told a new kid last month that laptops in the hangar were just for show. Then he pulled up a live waveform on his tablet during a fault on a Garmin G1000 and traced a bad shield ground in 20 minutes that I'd been chasing for two days. Has anyone else had a younger tech show them a method that made them rethink their whole toolkit?
