TIL the hard way why you always check crimp connections twice
I was working a Cessna 172 panel upgrade in a hangar outside Omaha last Wednesday. Finished soldering a DB25 connector for the GPS, buttoned it up, and cycled the master only to get no GPS power. Spent 45 minutes tracing back before I found my ground pin wasn't fully seated. Just a hair loose, but it broke contact under vibration. Has anyone else had a tiny crimp issue eat up a whole afternoon?

Tiny failures always hide in the details nobody checks twice.

Is it really that deep though @harris.vera or are we just overthinking dust specs?
