That one inspector who wrote up my solder joint
Back in March at the hangar in Wichita, this older inspector with a gray mustache pulls me aside after a routine check. He points at a connector I'd re-pinned the day before and says, 'Son, your solder is fine, but your strain relief is three wraps short.' I had done it that way for years and no one ever said a word. He made me redo it right there, then showed me the manual page with the exact spec. Has anyone else had a quality guy teach them something that simple that they'd been missing forever?
