Stopped trusting the multimeter beep and started loading the circuit for real
For my first two years on the line I did continuity checks with the meter on beep and called it good, then last March I chased an intermittent flap issue on a King Air for three days. Turned out the wire would only drop out under load, so a plain continuity check passed every time while the plane sat on the ground. Now I hook up a load box and wiggle every harness section I can reach before I sign anything off. Cost me about $200 for the load box but it saved me way more than that in repeat trips. What is your go to for finding the gremlins that only show up in the air?
