Had a weird static issue on a G1000 display that cleared up after I cleaned the backplane connector with a specific DeoxIT spray.

Which DeoxIT spray did you use? I had the same problem with a sticky encoder knob and the D5 stuff fixed it right up. That contact cleaner is magic for these old connectors.

Read that the D100L works better for plastic parts.
