Had a weird static issue on a G1000 display that cleared up after I cleaned the backplane connector with a specific DeoxIT spray.

Tbh @jade240, you're out here fixing sticky knobs while I'm over here hoping my G1000 doesn't spontaneously start speaking in tongues mid-flight. Honestly, the DeoxIT stuff is practically a cult at this point. I swear my radio encoder was possessed until I hit it with the D100L spray. Now it's smoother than a politician's lie. But seriously, if I have to clean one more backplane connector with a q-tip and prayers, I'm switching to a steam-powered panel.

Which DeoxIT spray did you use? I had the same problem with a sticky encoder knob and the D5 stuff fixed it right up. That contact cleaner is magic for these old connectors.
