Tried zip tying my exhaust pipe as a temporary fix. Lasted 2 years.
Had a bracket snap off near Flagstaff. Middle of nowhere. No welding gear. Picked up a pack of heavy duty zip ties at a gas station. Figured it would get me home. Still holding strong. Anyone else have a shade tree fix that just wouldn't die?

Did you use the outdoor UV rated ones or just grab whatever was on the shelf? Because regular zip ties get brittle as hell after a few months in the sun around here. Also what kind of exhaust pipe are we talking, like a muffler hanger or a full on crack in the pipe itself? Two years is wild either way but I gotta know the specifics cause I got a rattle under my truck that needs a similar kind of love.
