That one Saturday in Denver where my intercooler piping just would not seal

Spent 6 hours wrestling with a 3 inch coupler on a buddy's WRX, every time I boosted it popped right off. Turns out the bead on the pipe was rolled wrong from a cheap eBay kit, swapped it for a proper T-bolt setup and it held at 22 psi all day. Has anyone else dealt with these knockoff piping kits that never seat right, or am I just unlucky?

Man, that's the universal sign that your car hates you and wants you to suffer specifically lol. Glad the cheap parts tax finally caught up to someone else, not just me.
