Switched to ceramic coating on my truck after seeing a buddy's paint job last winter

I've always been a wax guy, used that $20 turtle wax for years. But my friend Mike showed me his 2018 F-150 last February, the one he parked outside all winter up here in Buffalo. His paint still looked brand new with zero salt stains or swirl marks, and he just hoses it off. I finally tried a $60 ceramic spray kit on my old Tacoma three months ago. The water beads off like crazy and bird poop doesn't etch into the clear coat anymore. Anyone else make the switch and notice a big difference in how often you have to wash your car?

Washed my car twice since November after ceramic coating. Used to be every weekend during salt season here in Maine. The dirt just slides off with the hose.
