Rant: My truck sounded like a dying cow after that $40 cold air intake
Slapped a budget cold air intake on my 2004 Silverado last month in Denver and the MAF sensor went nuts. Check engine light came on after 3 days, idle dropped to 400 rpm and it was bucking like a bronco at every stoplight. Turns out the oil on the filter fouled the sensor, so I cleaned it with electrical spray and re-tuned the throttle body. Now it purrs but honestly the stock box flowed better for daily driving, anyone else regret going cheap on intake parts?
