Lowered my WRX 1.5 inches in March and now I can't decide if the look is worth the scrapes

Two sides here: the car sits flat and corners like it's on rails, but I've tagged the front lip on my own driveway twice and my wife says it looks like it's broken, so tell me honestly, is a 1.5 inch drop on a daily driver a real upgrade or just a look I'm paying for in plastic?
