Vent: The lady in Toledo asked me to fix her dryer while her parrot watched and now I bring a towel
Two weeks back I got a call to a house over in Toledo for a dryer that would not spin, and the homeowner met me at the door with a green parrot on her shoulder. She parked that bird on a kitchen chair right next to me the whole time I had the cabinet open, and every time I pulled a screw it would squawk "pretty boy" at me. I got the belt swapped in about 20 minutes but the bird kept dropping sunflower seeds into the drum, so I had to shop vac it twice. Here is the weird part, now I keep a towel in the truck to cover open drums, not for lint but for birds. Any of you ever had a pet make a simple job take way longer than it should?
