Found a hack for stuck dryer drum rollers
Had a Whirlpool that seized up after 3 months of heavy use. Tried the usual grease but it kept coming back. Spun the rollers on a drill with some fine grit sandpaper for 10 seconds each and they've been quiet for 6 months now. Anyone else try this or am I asking for trouble?

Sand those things down til they're smooth or just buy new ones? Seems like you're just speeding up the wear even if it quiets down for a bit.

Sandpaper grit matters way more than people think. Friend of mine used 80 grit on his new hybrid clubs back in 2016. Completely messed up the face grind. Club pro told him he turned a $400 wedge into a $20 beater. Tried to fix the chatter marks from range balls. Ended up buying a whole new set after two rounds. He still brings it up every time we play together.
