Came back to a washer full of suds after a service call last Tuesday
I replaced a drain pump on a Whirlpool for a customer in Wichita, ran a test cycle, everything looked fine. Left the house, got a call 20 minutes later that the kitchen was flooding with bubbles. Turns out the previous repair guy had poured a whole bottle of liquid detergent into the dispenser trying to diagnose a leak, and it finally released during my test. Now I always run a full rinse cycle before leaving any job, has anyone else had a hidden surprise like this bite them after a repair?

Hold on, you're sure that's what happened? Seems like a lot of trust in the story of the guy who made the mess in the first place. Bubbles like that usually mean something is still in there.
