Am I the only one who learned to tap a stuck compressor relay with a screwdriver handle back in 2009?
Had a fridge in a rental over on Delmar that would not kick on and the landlord was too cheap for a new relay, so I gave the old one two light taps with a flathead handle and it fired right up, which held me over for six months until the part came in.
