Wasted $200 on that AI resume optimizer last month

Saw an ad for an AI tool that claimed to rewrite your resume for better ATS scoring, so I dropped $200 on the premium plan. Turns out it just swapped synonyms around and made my job history read like a robot wrote it. Anyone else get burned by one of these AI career hype machines?

Last year I paid a human on Fiverr $50 to redo my resume and got way more callbacks than any AI tool ever gave me. The key was she actually talked to me for 20 minutes about what I did day to day, not just swap out buzzwords. Sometimes the old fashioned way still beats the hype.
