The time my AI image generator made a total mess of a client project
I was at my desk in Austin last month, working on a set of marketing images for a local coffee shop. The AI was supposed to generate a shot of a barista pouring latte art, but instead it gave me a woman with three arms holding a cup that was melting into the counter. Everything looked wrong, like a nightmare from a bad dream. I stopped trusting the output after that and went back to doing rough sketches myself before feeding them into the tool. I ended up fixing it by manually masking the bad parts in Photoshop and running smaller, controlled generations. The client never knew, but it cost me an extra 4 hours. Has anyone else had the AI just completely fail on something simple like object placement or human anatomy?
