Tried using ChatGPT to sort my route one morning last week
I had a weird split shift last Tuesday where my usual route was mixed with parts of two other routes. I loaded up the addresses into ChatGPT and asked it to find the most efficient order based on drive times between stops. It gave me a sequence that cut almost 20 minutes off my usual loop, I was honestly surprised. The catch was that it didn't account for apartment buildings with no parking, so I had to adjust a few stops manually. Has anyone else found a way to give AI local details like one way streets or construction zones for stuff like this?

Try pasting a Google Maps screenshot with your notes on it.

Pasting a screenshot with notes on it sounds like a good idea in theory, but I'd take that with a grain of salt. In my experience, AI can't really read handwritten scribbles or tiny arrows on a map. It might just guess at what you mean and give you something that looks right but isn't. Plus, construction zones change so fast that even a screenshot from last week could be outdated today. I'm not saying it wouldn't help a little, but I wouldn't rely on it for something as time sensitive as a delivery route. Honestly, you're probably better off just memorizing the problem spots on your own.
