That workshop leader told me my AI art prompts were way too complex

I was using 50 word prompts with all sorts of technical terms for a series I was working on. She showed me her 8 word prompt "forest at dusk, oil painting style" and the output was honestly better. Made me strip everything back and now I get cleaner results with way less tweaking. Anyone else find shorter prompts work better for certain styles?

Wait, were you trying to describe the exact lighting and texture from some reference image, or were you just throwing in every term you thought would make it look cool?

Maybe they were just trying to distract the AI from all the weird stuff in their actual prompt.
