That AI trainer told me to ditch my huge dataset strategy

I was feeding 50k images into my model for weeks and getting garbage results. A guy at a conference in Austin named Mike said to try just 500 high quality images instead. He was dead right, my accuracy jumped from like 60% to 85% in under a week. Has anyone else had to completely change how they prep their data?

That's the thing people miss - they think more data automatically means better results, but garbage in means garbage out even if you have a million images. Quality over quantity is the real hack, especially if you're curating for diversity and edge cases instead of just dumping everything in there.

Yeah totally. More data just means more noise if you aren't careful.
