Spent 4 hours trying to train an AI to sort my emails... and it still can't tell a newsletter from a bill lol

I thought I could whip up a quick custom AI model to sort my email inbox automatically. Big mistake haha. After 4 hours of wrestling with training data and tweaking parameters, it still labeled my electric bill as a promotional offer. The free tier of services like SaneBox or even just using Gmail filters would have done a better job in 10 minutes. Has anyone else tried building their own email sorting bot and just given up?

Ngl @victor_butler50 nailed it, filters already do the job better. Building your own AI for email is just asking for a headache.

Did you try using Gmail filters first? I messed with building my own AI once too and it was a total waste of time.
