Realized I was training my AI model on the wrong data for 8 months
I run a small e-commerce site and I've been feeding my chatbot every product description we had, thinking more data meant better answers. A customer asked about sizing for a jacket and the bot gave them specs from a winter coat we stopped selling in 2019. I checked the logs and saw it pulled from an old CSV file I never updated, that was the tipping point. Switched to only using recent reviews and live inventory, took about 3 days to retrain. Anyone else hit a moment where your model was just repeating stale info?
