My photo folder went from 4 hours of sorting a week to 20 minutes and I blame one tool
Six months ago I was spending about 4 hours a week just culling and tagging shots from my weekend gigs. I do about 1,200 photos per event and it was eating my Sundays alive. Then I set up face and object detection on my own PC at home, nothing fancy, just a free model running locally in Tulsa. Same folder of 1,200 shots now gets sorted and tagged in under 20 minutes while I eat lunch. I am not paying any monthly fee and my stuff never leaves my drive. If you shoot events on the side, stop doing it by hand, you are burning your weekend for nothing. What are you all using for auto-tagging local files?

Face detection on 1,200 event shots means a pile of wrong tags you still gotta fix by hand.
