My old text generator hit 10,000 words before it started repeating itself.

That was a big deal back in 2018 (it felt like magic then). Anyone run into a similar surprise with a basic model from a few years back?

Oh man, "it felt like magic then" is so real. My first one would write a whole paragraph about a dragon, then suddenly the dragon would be at a coffee shop ordering a latte. Every single time. We were so impressed it could even do that, we just accepted the dragon's new career in the service industry.

Yeah I read an article about that. It said we were just so happy the words made any sense at all, we ignored the weird stuff. The bar was so low back then.

Remember when that felt advanced? Now my phone's autocorrect tries to write whole emails for me. The real surprise is how fast we went from amazed to annoyed.
