My old clippers died mid-haircut so I had to choose between a cheap cordless or a pro corded model
Grabbed the cordless for $40 and it's already dying on the second charge, wish I'd shelled out the $120 for the corded one, anyone else regret budget tools in a crunch?

Wait, it started dying on the SECOND charge? That's brutal even for a $40 clipper, that thing is basically a scam at that point.

See it all the time now, stuff just isn't built to last like it used to be. I got a pair of wireless earbuds from a decent brand and the left one stopped holding a charge after three months. Feels like everything from clippers to phone chargers is made with a timer on it so you have to buy another one. Drives me nuts because you pay what feels like a fair price and still get junk.
