My local library's AI catalog got 3 years of new books sorted in 2 days
I volunteer at the branch in Salem and we had this backlog of donations piling up since 2021. The old guy who ran things retired and nobody touched his paper system. Last week the new director hooked us up with this AI tagging tool that reads covers and summaries. It organized 400 books into categories with suggested age ranges and everything. Has anyone else seen libraries switch to this kind of setup or is my town just weird?

@rivershah our AI probably knows Dewey better than I do at this point, not exactly a high bar.
