My buddy told me Midjourney v6 could do spot-on product mockups with one prompt

My friend runs a small Etsy shop and swore up and down Midjourney v6 could generate product mockups for t-shirts that matched his exact dimensions. I tried it for a client in Dallas who wanted a hoodie mockup for their online store. The AI kept messing up the hoodie strings and the fabric fold looked like a wet towel. Has anyone else found a reliable way to get consistent product mockups out of AI without spending hours in Photoshop?

My buddy tried the same thing for his band's merch. Spent three days tweaking prompts and still got hoodies that looked like trash bags with strings. He ended up just tracing the AI output in Illustrator and fixing it himself.

Spent an entire afternoon myself trying to get an AI to generate a simple logo for my D&D group's t-shirts... came out looking like a melted pretzel crossed with a dragon, still not sure what it was supposed to be. Gave up and just hand-drew the thing in like twenty minutes with a mouse, looked way better. Sometimes old school is the only school, you know?
