My AI art generator made a weird face last Tuesday and I can't stop thinking about it

I was messing around with Stable Diffusion for a project and generated a portrait that had three nostrils and a smile that curved up into the hairline, no joke. It looked like a nightmare version of my aunt Linda, and I spent an hour trying to figure out if it was a training data glitch or just bad prompting. Anyone else run into creepy AI artifacts that feel too intentional to ignore?

oh man, I've definitely done the "spiral of doom" with generations like that. last week I tried to get a simple cat portrait and it gave me a thing that looked like a melted taxidermy project with seventeen eyes and a tail growing out of its forehead. I spent way too long tweaking prompts to see if I could get it to do it again, like some kind of digital cryptid hunter. my girlfriend walked in and asked if I was okay, and I had to admit I was staring at a glitchy abomination for 45 minutes like an idiot.
