I used to hand-draw every single landscape design for clients
Back in 2019 I'd spend like 3 hours sketching out planting plans with colored pencils. Now I just plug the property measurements into a landscaping AI tool and it generates a 3D layout in 10 minutes, including sunlight tracking. Has anyone else found these tools actually save time or do you end up tweaking them just as much?

Funny how that works, @leog68. It's like the moment you stop worrying about looking like you know what you're doing, you actually get better at it. AI tools just handle the boring technical stuff, so you can focus on the real art part. I think we all get too caught up in proving we can do things the old hard way instead of just using what works. Same thing happens with people who refuse to use GPS because they want to read a paper map, you know? The tool doesn't make the plan, the eye does.

My hand-drawn plans always looked like a kindergartener's art project, so AI was a lifesaver.
