Had a guy at work tell me my prompt engineering was 'lazy' and honestly he was right lol

So my coworker Jeremy looked at some prompts I wrote for our customer service chatbot and straight up said "you put zero thought into these, it's just copy paste from a blog." He showed me how I was asking for generic responses instead of giving the AI a persona and a specific tone. Changed the whole thing in like 20 minutes and the bot started sounding way more natural. Anyone else had someone call them out on something obvious?
