Got schooled by a 19 year old at a coffee shop about my AI workflow

This kid at Starbucks in Austin watched me manually sorting through 500 generated images and goes 'why aren't you using a CLIP similarity filter?' Spent 30 minutes showing me his setup on a laptop with a cracked screen - has anyone else had some random person completely change how you work?

Been seeing more of these young tech kids pop up in random spots. Read a piece the other day about how Gen Z is basically speedrunning AI tools because they grew up with this stuff. The cracked screen laptop detail is too real, that's how they all operate. CLIP filters are solid but honestly I'd be more interested in what else that kid had in his toolkit, probably has a whole workflow cobbled together from GitHub repos nobody over 25 has heard of.

And here I am still trying to figure out how to make a Python script run twice without breaking something. Kid's probably got a whole pipeline of Stable Diffusion models stacked on top of each other while I'm over here googling "how to install pip again." Makes you wonder who's really the tech wizard when the teenager coding on a busted laptop could automate your whole workflow in half the time it takes you to open a terminal.
