Found a bathroom behind a door that was actually a wall
My buddy's rental in Columbus has a hallway that looks like a dead end, but there's a hidden bathroom door that blends right into the drywall. The catch is you have to pull a loose piece of trim to open it, and if the light's off you'd never know it's there. Has anyone else found a secret room that just makes you wonder what the builder was thinking?

Check the county records for that house. Builders sometimes hide spaces like that for a reason, and Columbus has some old neighborhoods where bootlegging or even hiding stuff during prohibition was a thing. If there's a hidden door, check if the room behind it is smaller than the house footprint suggests. You might have a legit cold storage or even a crawl space that was closed off later. I found one in a 1920s house that had an old coal chute bricked up behind a fake wall, wild stuff.
