The honey that never spoils debate, found in an Egyptian tomb

I spent 3 days last month trying to figure out why a jar of honey I bought at a farmers market in Portland crystallized so fast. Turns out, real honey doesn't spoil, it just changes texture, and archeologists found 3,000 year old pots of it in King Tut's tomb still edible. Some folks say that proves we should eat raw honey forever, others think it's just a marketing gimmick for expensive jars. Which side are you on, and has anyone actually tried ancient honey from a museum or is that just a story?

Picking up on the crystallization thing, that's actually the coolest part of the whole debate. Raw honey does that because it's full of pollen and tiny particles, and the sugar basically forms a lattice over them. So when you see that grainy texture, it's not spoiled, it's just proof it's real. And honestly, the idea of eating 3,000 year old honey feels weird but also kinda amazing, like it's been vibing in a jar since before the Romans. I'd totally try a tiny bit if a museum let me, but I bet they'd charge like $200 for a thimble of it.
