I found a sign at a local diner saying 'We've moved across the streer' and laughed for a solid minute. Then I realized my own food truck menu had 'Mexican Pizza's' with an apostrophe on the specials board. Ran it through a quick online checker after that, caught three more mistakes before printing, and now I double-check every single sign before it goes up. Anyone else ever get humbled by their own typo like that?

'We've moved across the streer' is funny, sure. But checking every sign with a tool is a crutch. Misspelled words on a menu or sign made by hand have character. People know what you mean. If it's on a permanent sign, sure, fix it. But a daily specials board? Nobody's gonna sue you over a typo. You're wasting time chasing perfect when nobody cares except you.
