Last weekend I was hosting a seafood boil for 12 people and my propane burner kept flaming out. I grabbed my old Linux command guide just to kill time while waiting on the pizza delivery guy, and the troubleshooting chapter on daemon restarts made me check the regulator valve. Turns out the safety latch was stuck, same way you'd force-quit a frozen process. I ended up fixing the burner and the cookbook's timing chart for crabs was spot on. Next you'll tell me `systemctl restart` fixed a burnt roux too. But honestly, the crossover makes sense since both are about managing stuck processes, just with different failure modes. Glad the pizza guy was late, otherwise you'd have missed the whole adventure.
