Brought a binder of medical records to my hearing, the judge just talked about my cat

I lugged a 3-inch binder to my SSDI hearing in Phoenix because my lawyer said judges love documentation. Instead, the judge spent 15 minutes asking about the cat photo I used as a divider tab, then approved my claim anyway. Has anyone else had a hearing go sideways in a weird, harmless way?

Three inches of paperwork mightve been the problem honestly. Judges see binders like that every single day and they all blur together, but a cat photo sticks in their head. My buddy brought a five pound stack of pay stubs and MRI reports to his hearing last year and the judge barely glanced at it, then asked about his Harley shirt for ten minutes. Maybe the real trick is being memorable instead of being thorough, cause the system is so backed up theyre probably just looking for any reason to say yes.
