I tried folding a 1972 cookbook into a lamp shade and it started smelling like burnt onion soup
The heat from the bulb made the old glue and paper fibers release this weird savory scent that filled my whole living room for 3 days, so has anyone else had a vintage book give off a weird smell when you heat it up?
