One bad week with syncing made me go back to basics

Last Tuesday my whole Notability setup fell apart. I had 6 tabs open, a planner template, and a recipe page for dinner. The sync kept dropping and I lost a whole grocery list I spent 20 minutes building. My phone was at 3% and I was in the parking lot of a Safeway in Boise. I just stood there staring at a blank screen. That night I deleted all my fancy multi-layer templates. Went back to one notebook for everything, just plain lined paper with a simple date stamp. Slower at first but honestly, I havent lost a single note since. Anyone else ever have a full digital meltdown like that? How do you handle the fear of losing stuff in the cloud?

Isnt it funny how the fancy stuff always ends up being the thing that breaks you? I did the same thing with a color coded sticker system for my shift notes, spent a whole weekend setting it up, then lost two weeks of patient info when the app glitched. Went back to a plain spiral notebook and a pen, no password, no cloud, just paper that cant betray me. Now I keep digital copies only as a backup, not the main source, and honestly the peace of mind is worth way more than any template ever gave me.
