Rant: The 'family size' frozen lasagna shrank 20% but the box got fancier

Picked up the same brand I've been buying for like 2 years at my local Kroger in Austin. Last week I noticed the box has this big glossy redesign with a photo of a chef, but inside the tray is noticeably smaller. I weighed it at home, went from 40 ounces to 32 ounces, same price at $8.99. What's with companies spending more on packaging while cutting the actual food? Has anyone else seen a size drop like this on frozen stuff, or is it just this one brand trying to hide the shrink?

...and honestly I saw a food blogger ranting about this exact thing last month, how brands go for the fancy box redesign right when they cut portions. It's like they're hoping you'll be distracted by the shiny new look and not notice the tray feels lighter. My go-to frozen pizza brand did the same thing, went from 24 ounces to 19 and added "new and improved" on the front. The shrinkflation stuff is real but it's the insult of paying the same price for less that gets me. Worse part is when you open the lasagna and it's obviously thinner too, not just smaller around the edges.
