Rant: hit 500 weird labels in one aisle, am I collecting or just nosy?
I counted 500 odd product labels in one grocery aisle in Austin last Tuesday, from 'cactus water' to 'pickle soda,' and tbh I felt proud, not weirded out. Is spotting odd stuff a hobby or just a sign I need better weekend plans, what's your take when you pass that mark?

Notice how every store is basically a museum now, full of stuff nobody asked for but everyone stops to stare at. I think we're all just hungry for something weird in our daily routines, and labels are the easiest way to find it without actually committing to buying a drink that tastes like a garden. You're not nosy, you're training your brain to spot the cracks in the boring same-ness of everything on the shelves. Once you hit 500, you start seeing patterns, like how every brand thinks "hint of lava" is a flavor now. That's not a bad weekend plan, it's just a cheaper hobby than collecting actual art.
