Fixing a bakery's AC left me smelling like burnt cookies
Got a job at a local bakery. Their AC was blowing hot air. Checked the vents. Full of flour dust and sugar crystals. Looked like a snow globe inside. Had to vacuum for an hour. Owner gave me a box of day-old pastries. Not complaining.

Used to figure dirty vents were just dusty... this one sounds kinda sweet though. Free treats are a nice way to end that job.

My old winter jacket once gave me a half-eaten candy bar from the pocket. Almost as good as finding cash, minus the crumbs.

Burnt cookie smell is the new bakery perfume. You earned those pastries after cleaning that sugary mess. Not a bad deal for smelling like a kitchen mishap.
