Six weeks of tracking morning cortisol finally gave me answers, even if they're not pretty
I used to wake up and immediately hit snooze twice, then drag myself to coffee. My energy was trash by 10am no matter how much I slept. My doctor mentioned circadian rhythm stuff but I never really listened. Then I started logging my wake time, stress level, and how long until I felt human. Turns out my cortisol peak hits way later than normal, around 11am instead of right after waking. That explained the fog and the afternoon crash. I shifted my breakfast to higher protein and moved my walk to right after waking, no phone first. It's been 6 weeks and the 10am slump is gone. Has anyone else seen a delayed cortisol pattern show up in symptom tracking? What helped you shift it?

Gotta say the no-phone-first thing was the real game changer for me too, turns out scrolling was spiking my stress before my feet even hit the floor. I ended up pairing that with a quick 10 minute stretch before breakfast and it seemed to nudge my whole morning earlier after a few weeks, though your results might take a different shape depending on your sleep schedule.
