My estrogen patch kept sliding off until I tried this old trick

I've been on the patch for about 8 months now and the adhesive just would not stick past day 2, especially after my morning shower at the gym near Franklin. My doctor never mentioned anything about placement, but my aunt who used these in the 90s told me to wipe the spot with rubbing alcohol and let it dry fully before applying. Has anyone else found that prep makes a bigger difference than the brand itself, or is it just me?

Prep is everything honestly. Grease is the enemy of that adhesive, so alcohol wipes are non-negotiable. Brand matters less once you nail that step.
