After months of struggle, I managed three clean push-ups in my living room
I've been working on my push-ups for what feels like forever, always dropping to my knees halfway through (it was pretty frustrating). I set up a small space between my couch and TV with just a yoga mat, no bells or whistles. Last night, after my normal routine of bodyweight squats and planks, I thought I'd try again and somehow pushed out three full ones. My core felt tight and my arms were wobbly, but I didn't collapse. Doing this in my cramped apartment with zero gear made the win even sweeter. It's crazy how a tiny victory like this can boost your mood for days. Now I'm itching to add more bodyweight moves to my schedule. Anyone else get a rush from nailing a simple move at home? What small wins have kept you going?

Yeah my buddy FINALLY got his first pull-up last month and grinned for a week, those little wins are a huge deal.

That's awesome, congrats on the push-ups. What was the one thing you changed in your normal routine that you think finally made your core feel tight enough to lock in and finish them? Like, was it holding your planks a few seconds longer, or maybe how you were breathing?

Not to be a downer, but calling three push-ups a victory that boosts your mood for days seems over the top. It's just a basic move, and the rush fades fast when you realize how far you have to go.
